Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Caring for the Communities, We Serve
TEGFCU’s philosophy of neighbors helping neighbors is a part of everything we do. At TEG, being a full-service financial institution goes beyond offering products and services. TEGFCU is committed to improving lives in our community through support and participation in various causes. TEG employees are proud to give back and make a difference. We contribute volunteer hours, donations, and education to those who need it most. When we come together, everyone grows.
Education
Founded by teachers, financial education is our passion. TEGFCU hosts free financial workshops and seminars that are designed to help members and non-members make educated financial decisions and plan for their futures. We truly understand the value of lifelong knowledge and want to help the members of our community reach their goals! These initiatives include partnering with Vision Retirement and hosting numerous webinars and seminars throughout the year and in-person classes through Arlington Continuing Education.
Local Business Affiliations
Chambers of commerce are crucial for fostering economic growth, business development, and a sense of community among local businesses. TEGFCU is proud to be active members in several counties’ Chamber of Commerce, such as Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, & Westchester, which offer many opportunities for community involvement.
Scholarships
